Business Travel and Security: Keeping your Passport Protected

The safety of your passport is extremely important, especially when you’re travelling for business reasons. Any problem or delay could affect important meetings; so let’s look at some of the ways to keep your passport safe during your travels.

Make multiple copies of passport

Before you set out on the journey, make multiple copies the passport and leave a copy each in different places.

Keep it within reach at all times

As you are required to show your passport at the airport, make sure that your passport is kept within your reach in a travel wallet, a waist pouch or a passport holder so that it is concealed.

Lock the passport in a safe

Once you check in to the hotel, keep the passport locked up in the safe at all times. When you move around, carry the copy with you.

And finally, as long as you never leave the passport unattended even for a short while, you should be able to make it through your business trip without any issues.
